In 1987, art students Jay Roche and John Carter created murals, 19 panels, chronicling Bray's history at Bray DART Station. They were the winners of a competition set up by community arts organiser Anne Hennessy. The original artists, and their colleague Anthony Kelly, began the 'mural to mosaic' project in 2008, preserve their work by converting them to mosaics. In Summer 2022 Mary-Kate Hardy painted a large mural at Greystones station.
