Books, Manuscripts
Despite the scale and exponential growth of the cancer book world, uncovering great cancer writing is a monumental task. No treasury of essential reading, nor introductory guide with helpful interpretations, exists. “The Breath of Consolation” addresses this gap. It honours fifty literary treasures from three centuries, six continents and thirteen countries. Memoirs, novels, poetry, short stories, and creative non-fiction feature. A celebration of the enduring power of writers who help all affected by cancer to endure suffering, find meaning and recover hope. Emcompassing novels, memoirs, poetry, short stories, and more. "The Breath of Consolation" draws from cancer literature's rich history to present fifty literary treasures.
